This walk is special for us because we get to show my appreciation and support to the Ronald McDonald House. A home away from home that gave our family so much Hope, Love and support in a very difficult time in our life. Our daughter Philumena was born prematurely at 1 lb 15 oz at Women and Infants Hopital. Staying at the House right accross the street from the hospital allowed us to be around our daughter 24/7.  Philumena was in the NICU for 3 months while she was looked after by the wonderful Nurses & Doctors there. The House provided everything for us and allowed us to concentrate on being with our daughter as much as possible and deal with some of the tough decisions we would be making.  The House supports families with children from birth to 21 years old who are hospitialized or receive major medical treatment at nearby hospitals. Each year over 250 families stay at the House while an additional 1,200 enjoy the comforts of the Family Room at Hasbro Childrens Hospital. Please consider a small donation.
