Our team has participated in the Walk for several years now.  This is one of the most important fundraising events of the year for Humane Society and is always a fun way to spend a Sunday morning.  This year's event will be held at 10:30 on Sunday June 8th at Battery Park, just down the street from our office.

A number of us can attest personally to the great work that occurs daily at the Humane Society.  The staff and volunteers are incredibly dedicated to the cause of sheltering, caring for and finding permanent owners for homeless animals in our area.  In addition to that, the organization is extremely efficient and well-run, allowing it to make the most of the donations it receives from events like this.
