Nearly 4.8 million people in Zambia have no access to clean, safe water; only 36 percent of the population has access to an improved water source. Engedi Church, where I worship, partners with Living Water International to provide “sustainable, participatory water systems that meet the long-term needs of communities.” (More information at http://www.water.cc/about-lwi/our-approach/.)
On Saturday, July 21, I’ll be pedaling this mobile awesome-wagon for the first leg of the Holland 100 Bicycle Tour to raise funds for Living Water’s programs in Zambia.
We've set a collective goal of $5,000. But here’s the thing: If we raise $10,000, we'll have enough to drill a new well in Zambia.
If you're interested in supporting me, the whole team would appreciate it!
