Hi EveryPAWdy:
My name is Elliot and I am a purebred Cream-Point Persian cat.
I have a sad story and thanx to my friends at RESCUE ME INC, I have a chance at a happy life.
Some nice people found me and brought me in to the vets office
that my friends at RESCUE ME INC use. I was very sick and they spent some money to get me medicine and took me home.
Then 2 days later I was brought into the hospital by animal control officers as I was found on the road nearly dead.
The people at the hospital called the people that helped me and they didnt respond for 3 days and then they said they didnt want me so they let me go and they stopped giving me the medicine they got to make me better.
I felt very sick. I had a very high fever, running nose, a bad upper respiratory infection, a bad bladder infection, I was severely underweight and just felt very poopy.
My friends at RESCUE ME INC REFUSED to have me put to sleep {not that their vet ever would they told me!!!} so they have taken over my care.
I had to get new meds, IV care and meds in my little arm, it hurt but I feel better now. I had to have an abdominal ultrasound due to really bad tummy issues and they found out I have a funny thing called a cryptorchid {testicles have not decended} so I have to have surgery to have them removed. {neutered}
I am starting to feel better now but my vet bill is very big so if you can help my friends at RESCUE ME INC I would be really happy.
I have been in the hospital now for over a week and I am feeling better and getting stronger every day.
My friends said when I am all better they will help me find a 4ever home, that sounds nice.
If you want to adopt me let my friends know so you can meet me. ALL I want is a nice place to lay my head and be loved. I promise to be a good boy. MEOW MEOW!!!!
