On behalf of all senior beagles, particularly those we have fostered (and Filbert the Dobie mix), thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Actually this is on behalf of all senior pets, no matter what the breed or species. Our beagles will be walking (at least in between sniffing) for Young At Heart in support of their mission to save and rehome senior pets in the Chicagoland area. New foster beagle KIA will be there prancing along, too!

Young at Heart is the ONLY organization in the Chicago area that specializes in senior dogs and cats - pets that would normally be euthanized simply because they are older get a second chance at a wonderful life! The money is used for vet care, food and supplies until the pet is adopted - and we give the pets as long as is needed to find a home. There is no timeline. Young At Heart's pets stay safely in a foster home until they find a new family. Thanks to Young at Heart, over 400 senior pets that would have been needlessly euthanized have gone on to live happily ever afters!
