Thank you for visiting my "PLUNGE" fundraising page.   On March 27, 2010, I will be taking the plunge for Special Olympics with Team Asphalt!  This year with the ice and snow I can just imagine what we will be plunging in!!!

 My fundraising efforts are for the Mid-Winter Banquet now held at the Coralville Marriott!  They have chosen Special Olympics as their Charity of Choice and provide us a beautiful area, tables, chairs, linens, stage, pipe & drape and their support staff at our beck and call.  They have given us sooo much and with your help through the Iowa City fundraising efforts we will be able to continue to have an event with out any cost to our athletes once they reach Iowa City.  We have a wonderful banquet on Friday night March 12 with a full day of Competition on March 13 at the University of Iowa Field House.  Competitions are: Basketball, Basketball Skills, Gymnastics, Cheerleading and Powerlifting; if you have the time  you should come over, watch and cheer our athletes on to victory!
