Hey guys, ever since I was a young boy I dreamed of jumping on a bike and riding from Boston to NYC. LIES!!!

I may regret this, but I committed to cycling from Boston to NYC at the end of September to raise money for Housing Works and fight HIV/AIDS. I need your help to meet my $15K fundraising goal and your donation is fully tax-deductible.

I haven't really been on a bike since my college days but I started training so I don't make a fool of myself. I bike to the bodega down the street and I cruise up and down 8th Avenue. I have included a picture of me and my road bike LaLa (after my mama) to tug at your heartstrings and shake more pennies from your pockets (see emotional blackmail). 
 

Any amount will help, so give what you can. It goes to a great cause so sell your hair, your Beanie Baby collection, get another job……
