Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! This page is in honor of Steve, my beautiful bunny boy (on left in photo) who very recently passed away.

This year I am participating in the annual "Bowling for the Animals" fundraising event.  Although I cannot bowl, I have joined the team "Bun City Bowlers" to support rescued rabbits, like my big guy, Steve.  I adopted him 5 years ago from Zooh Corner Rabbit Rescue.  I'll be there, with "bunny ears" on, to cheer on my team.

This event benefits Spay-Neuter Action Project (SNAP), a great nonprofit organization that spays & neuters pets (including bunnies) of low-income families. This is a big step towards a San Diego where no critters are made to suffer in a shelter or on the streets just because they were born unwanted. SNAP also works to educate people of all ages (from kindergarten on up) on how to take good care of their pets.

SNAP is working to build a standalone clinic that will offer spay/neuter services for rabbits to community members and rescues. Raising money for this clinic is something I feel honored to do and I hope you will too through supporting my fundraising page. This clinic is a tremendous goal and needs our support. With your help, I hope to raise $2,000 to go towards building the clinic.  

Bowling for the Animals takes place on Sunday, April 26, 2009, and I'll need your donation prior to that day. Please consider forwarding this page to anyone you think might want to donate too.
