Dear Friends, Family, and Colleagues,

Some people say that a 140.6 mile triathlon is impossible.  Yet, we know that with hard work, dedication, perseverence, good tools, and a great community of supporters, we can achieve this "impossible" goal.

It's the same with babies dying of starvation. To some, solving this problem seems impossible. Because of the dedication and perseverence of a French nutritionist, however, and the work of Doctors Without Borders, there's now a way to prevent childen dying from starvation and suffering the long-term effects of mal-nutrition in areas if the world devastated by famine, drought, and social and medical crises like HIV/AIDS. The cure for childhood starvation is called "Plumpy'Nut," and $40 allows Doctors Without Borders to buy and deliver enough of it to save a child's life. Is that possi ble?  Amazingly, it's true.

When $40 saves a child's life, every dollar counts.  And in the  Ironman Janus Charity Challenge, every dollar increases our chance of winning extra money for Doctors Without Borders, which is why we are so grateful to you for pooling your resources with others to help us compete in the Janus Charity Challenge.
