It's been almost 40 years since a small group of women emerged from an early women's liberation conference in Boston and began to meet regularly around kitchen tables and on living room floors.

Out of our powerful work came the first edition of Our Bodies, Ourselves - a book that has revolutionized women's health care and empowered women around the world.

Today, Our Bodies Ourselves is a vibrant nonprofit with programming that reaches communities around the globe. We work hard to make women and girl's lives better by providing them the health information they want and need. We believe when a woman is given the information she needs, she is given the ability to make the best decisions for her health, her family and her life.

Our Bodies Ourselves has been there for you when you needed us most. Even though we do incredible things with a staff of six, the economic climate has hit us hard. And now we need you.
