 I did it! On April 9, 2011,

I completed the Lone Star Sprint Triathlon in 1:55 hours!

(400 meter swim, 12 mile bike, 3.1 mile run)

I was so happy to complete this event, not only for the physical challenge it was (battled gusty winds and a really hot day), but because my teammates and I are making a difference with some really great children as we race for our finish lines!
 

What's next you ask?  The Austin Triathlon on May 30 with my dear friend Suzanne Black.  It will be her fist triathlon, and I'm excited to support her across the finish line as we both support some really great kids have opporunities in life they deserve!
