This is my first year for Strut Your Mutt and I am so excited to go walk with Idgie to help other doggies and kitties who weren't as lucky as I was. 

I had a wonderful foster mother, Christy, who loved me and wanted me to have really good forever parents.  She did a really good job and found people who recognized a princess when they saw one. 

I know there are lots of animals out there that have good foster parents like Christy who need homes.  And, worse, animals who don't have anyone to look after them.  Even though Idgie and I have heard about how hard it is to buy lots of treats now, I'll bet your pets would give up some of their treats to help others have some.  Idgie and I have.

Idgie and I are going to walk a long way, too - 1.5 miles.  It will be hot in May but I know all the parents will have plenty of water for us to drink.  Some poor animals don't have anyone to give them even water, so please consider helping them out.
