Athena was literally tossed out of her home, locked out of her yard only because the young couple who owned her and 2 Chi's (now Dead) did not want her...  She was living on the street for months until an amazing woman, Deb, went last week to pick her up after receiving an email plea from somebody in the neighborhood. Deb along with a couple other wonderful independent rescuers have been working hard to help Athena but now need your help...  Funding is desperately needed for Athena to get the care she needs along with boarding and training!  Boarding a dog for 1 month cost $500 so we are hoping to to get funds to cover 1 month of boarding and some of her medical care.  Athena is a young dog (maybe 1 year old) and spent the last 6 months on the street.. She has been able to settle down for a few days at Deb's house.  Athena was nervous at firt but so happy to be off the street and getting some attention and care.  She even had a play date with another dog and had so much fun!
