Miles for Philip J Ricco
Thank you for visiting The Ricco Family fundraising page!
This is a picture of our family, six weeks before Philip, our Dad and husband, died. Always smiling, his passion for life was truly contagious. We, as a family, are supporting the MRF so that other families will not have to endure the horrific loss that we did of such a kind, wonderful, husband, father, brother, good friend, coach, and Ironman that Philip J. Ricco was and always will be to us and those that loved him.
We lost our husband and father to Melanoma (one of the most common cancers in the United States). He was only 50 years old. Too young to be taken away from his family and friends. Although we miss him soooo soooo much, we consider ourselves so blessed to have had him for a husband and father. He was and always will be our inspiration.
What many people do not realize is how deadly skin cancer can be. Melanoma is the most dangerous form of skin cancer because people die from melanoma. Every hour of every day, someone dies of melanoma in the United States.
We appreciate any donation you can make to sponsor the Melanoma Research Foundation.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
**Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!**
