Seven years ago when our daughter, Nicole, was diagnosed with autism we were left to our own devices.  We were told that she needed intensive intervention and that we had to recruit, hire and train these people all at our own expense.  Imagine being told that had her diagnosis been cancer! 

Back then we would have given anything to have been able to make one call to have access to information, treatment, advocacy and support.  With the help of some local families that is how the vision for the Alpine Autism Center began.
