TULSA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

3rd Annual Ready...Set...Run! 5K/Fun Run Tulsa,  Oklahoma

Jules' Fundraising Page

Thank you for visiting my Team Neurologic fundraising page!

I am soliciting donations on behalf of Josh Miller, son of a good friend of mine, John Miller who is a local high school teacher.  Josh is a funny, inquisitive and very friendly 11-year-old boy who is living with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. There are simply no words to describe the joy that Josh spreads wherever he goes. To know him, truly is to love him, as I’ve never walked away from an encounter with Josh without a smile on my face. In fact, I feel blessed to be able to call everyone in the Miller family my friends, as they are all very unique and special people.

This year John and I have challenged each other to see who can raise the most money for Josh's team (Team Neurologic). He's got the entire Jenks school district in his favor, so I'm going to need all the help I can get!

John's wife, Jennifer, is co-founder of the Autism Center of Tulsa and also one of my personal heroes. In a world where everyone seems to want to blame someone else for all the problems, Jennifer has decided to become a part of the solution. When Josh was first diagnosed she was quickly frustrated by our city's lack of a centralized resource for information regarding ASDs. Rather than complain about the problem, Jennifer joined forces with another like-minded mom and together they founded the Tulsa Autism Foundation (Autism Center of Tulsa). By establishing this resource center, Jennifer became the change she wished to see.

I have witnessed firsthand the dedication and sacrifices Jen has made in order to further the cause of Autism support, awareness and safety.  I greatly respect, admire and support her efforts - not just with the Foundation, but also the example she sets for others. The Autism Center of Tulsa is truly an organization dedicated to the advocacy of children living with ASDs and providing valuable resources for their parents.

Any donation to this very worthy cause will be appreciated - no matter how small. Donating via this website is simple, fast and totally secure. Please forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!

Thanks!

- Jules
