Our annual Walk for Huntington's Disease (HD) is approaching and we're really hoping you'll join us this year! We always have a great time and love to share it with as many family and friends as we can. The Walk is at Magnuson Park in Seattle again this year,but starts at the amphitheater at 1:00 pm. You can bring your furry friends and the path is also wheelchair accessible.

For those unaware, Huntington's Disease is an inherited, progressively degenerative brain disorder that affects a person's ability to think, speak and walk. Symptoms include depression, impaired judgement, unsteady gait, involuntary movements, slurred speech and difficulty swallowing.

My husband, Christian, mother-in-law, Kim, and brother-in-law, Sebastian, have all tested positive for this gene which means they will develop these symptoms at some point in their lives. Since they mean the world to me and many, many other people, it is my life mission to stop this disease from ruining their lives.
