As we approach January again, it is so hard to believe that it has been three years since Daddy has been part of our lives.  In this third year, we have come to accept the loss but still wish that he was here with us.  Last year, we spent another incredible day at the Ronald McDonald House cooking for the resident families, listening to their stories and sharing our own story.  Our family is continuing this tradition as a way to honor Daddy and give back to the Ronald McDonald House, a place that has done so much for our family and that relies almost solely on the generosity of families like all of ours to help other families in need.

On Thursday, January 5, 2011, we will return to the Ronald McDonald House to prepare, serve, and share dinner with the residents.  We also hope to deliver funds for a family room that RMHC is building at Memorial Hospital.  It will provide a place for families to gather, wait and rest while their children are in the hospital. If you are interested in getting involved in this project, you can donate directly through this website in Daddy's honor or donate supplies needed for the family room or house.

Thank you all so much for your support over the last 3 years and for your continued support on this difficult day.  Daddy had such a deep love for children and gave so much to others in his lifetime that it is only fitting that we remember him by helping children and their families in need.  We know he would be proud!
