As many of you know, I've been engaged in this battle for almost 2 years and continue to fight. While there is no cure (unless it's operable, which is not true for me), great progess is being made in trials to stabilize these tumors, so people like me can live years with a good quality of life. This fundraising effort is to generally help support more research for this uncommon and underfunded type of cancer, and specifically for Stanford Cancer Center’s participation in the CFCF Neuroendocrine Tumor Bioconsortium; 100% of all funds raised will be directed towards this project.
