Pets on Wheels has provided me the opportunity to bring my dogs to visit young boys living in a group home.  These children suffer from behavioral and emotinal disorders due to severe physical, emotional and sexual abuse. They are 6-12 yrs old.

The changes in the boy's  behavior following visits with the dogs is remarkable. Pets on Wheels needs to attract, train and place more volunteers to work in similar situations. The funds raised through this Dog-a-thon will help this great cause.

Dylan and Cosmos will be walking with me  in memory of their son Nemo. Nemo visited the boys at St. Vincent's Center for Children, Courage House. Cosmos is currently visiting there. Dylan was re-certified and resumed her visits at St. Vincent's several weeks ago. She is a real hit, great frisbee player!!
