Paws Up for Pancreatic Cancer Research
Pancreatic Cancer is the 4th leading cause of cancer death in the United States with a 99% mortality rate. Approximately 34,000 Americans will be diagnosed this year. There are no early detection tests for this cancer. Treatment options are minimal and the average life expectancy after diagnosis is 3-6 months. Despite these grim statistics, pancreatic cancer receives the least amount of research funding of all major cancers.
Pets have the power to help create awareness about pancreatic cancer! Show your support by having your pet wear purple this November! Please help spread the word about the urgent need to find a cure and early detection methods. You can also help make a difference by donating to this site and helping us reach our goal of $1000.00. Stop by the Fashion Hound at The Cotton Company in downtown Wake Forest, NC on Nov. 21st to receive a free purple bandana for your pet!
Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
This page is dedicated in memory of my Mom, Anita Forman, who lost her battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 53. We miss having her in our lives each and every day.
