As you all know, Molsy Baby is well my baby!  He means the world to me and he is one thing I cannot live without.  Molson and I met 4 years ago this September.  So let me tell you how we met.... my sister, Marcie bought a boston terrier and when I met her I fell in love and I wanted one myself, so she gave me the name of the breeder she got her's from and I contacted them.  They said they had a litter that would be ready any day and I could come have the first pick.  So, I made the arrangements and drove to this Mennonite farm about half an hour away from my home.  Isaac, Marcie, and Mark Jr. went with me.  So we get there and walk into this huge barn and I see a little boy run into the back of the barn and the next thing I know he's pulling out a wooden wagon filled with puppies!!!! There were 3 boys and 3 girls!  When he stopped the wagon in front of us I knelt down next to it and this little puppy jumped up in my face and so I just had to pick him up and oooooo and aah over him and I knew he was the one.  But of course first, you all know me, I had to check out all the other puppies and hold them and play with them.  But I went right back to the one who jumped in my face.  So because I did not have a name picked out, the whole ride home the 4 of us were trying to decide on a name.  Isaac liked Marley after Bob, but that movie Marley and Me had just come out and being true to form I nixed that cuz want to be original. And we talked about the names Spencer or Hendrix, but not settled on either.  Of course, Mark Jr was saying we could name him Isaac, or Mark Jr., or God! :) Then my twin started rattling off beer names and I joined in saying Molson, completely joking, but everyone was like "Yea, I like that name! It's a good strong name!" So, it stuck!  And ever since Molson and I have been inseperable.  I have learned so much from him and it's true what the say.... "A dog is man's best friend".  No matter what I do, no matter how crazy I act, Molson still loves me and protects me and makes me laugh.  I never imagined being able to love a dog this much! So, all that to say we have been through a lot the past 3 years together and I have made a lot of bad choices when I was down and out only digging my whole of despair even deeper. Molson was always there by my side when nobody else was and he saved my life several times.  Now that I've hit rock bottom and I'm trying to work through my issues and move forward in my life- my friend, Blanca's words stick in my mind "Julie be ambitious for yourself.  Be ambitious for good not for bad. No one will do it for you only you can do the work."  So here I am... doing this Walk For the Animals Charity Event because I want to literally make a step in a better direction and do something positive and give back to the animals that bless our lives.
