Thank you so much for visiting my page! 

As many of you know thanks to FaceBook, I'm in training to run the October Chicago Bank of America Marathon on behalf of the Special Olympics Chicago Team. 

I've decided to dedicate my run to honor two very special and extraordinary people in my life: my brothers, Darry and Jimmy. They simply add so much joy to the lives of everyone who's had the pleasure of meeting them. I remember as a kid how they would "light up" as they prepared to participate in the Special Olympics. I remember how they tried so hard and never complained while simply doing their very best at each and every event. I remember how with pride, they would come home and hang their winning ribbons on the wall. It didn't matter to them if they had placed first, second, third or even last. They never gave up. I'll never forget those magical moments and life lessons because they left such an impression on me. 

I'm asking all of you to donate whatever is in your heart. No amount is too small or too large. If you can't donate at this time, even a silent thought or prayer is enough. I'll need those as I run those 26.2 miles :) We are grateful for any and all support.
