Hello my friends, family, and the world!

I need all the help I can get to expand the level of healthcare for the children in Dominican Republic. Dominican Republic is located in the beautiful Caribbeans by Haiti. There lives thousands of unfortunate children with the support of Children of the Nations. They need and deserve all the help we can give.

I first became a part of Children of the Nations when I traveld to Dominican Republic for the first time back in the fall of 2008 with Dr. Mike Jungkeit, a local ENT(Ear Neck Throat) surgeon. They currently have a small clinic in a town called Barahona run by visiting physicians from the United States with minimal medical/surgical equipments. Consequently the level of healthcare the clinic can offer is extremely limited. I led a team of students to Dominican Republic in 2009, and everytime I see these children I just wished there was more I could do.

So! We're doing our best to raise support to build a laboratory to analyze blood and specimen samples from operations. These tests are crucial to surgical treatments that provides the surgeons the critical informations for proper diagnosis.

Now I, along with Children of the Nations, sincerely would like to ask you for your help in reaching out to these children in need. Your support will play a significant role in saving a life and providing a better life to the children in Dominican Republic!
