A couple of days ago, I came across an article in The Dallas Morning News  about children in our own city going hungry. They are eating scraps off the floor in our school cafeterias. They are eating the paper off of crayons. They are not guaranteed meals over the summer. This is happening in our own backyard.

Mesquite Social Services provides meals to these children. They are running out of money. Read the story here:
