Hey there everyone -
As some of you know, I have signed up with Team Miracles in Motion through Phoenix Children's Hospital. Each member of our team is running in the Rock and Roll Marathon in support of an Honor Patient.
I am fortunate enough to be running on behalf of Joshua Gass who was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. Josh is only nine years old and is already fighting the battle of his life.
About a month ago I had the opportunity to meet Josh, and it was a life changing experience. Here's a little guy who has more courage, heart, and character in his pinky than most full grown adults have in their entire body.
Meeting Josh, you would never know that he spends the majority of his childhood in a hospital getting poked, prodded, tested, and medicated to no end. What amazes me even more is that throughout it all, Josh manages to stay optimistic and is rarely seen without a smile on his face. Joshua deserves the childhood that most of us enjoyed, and I feel I owe it to him to do my part to help.
My target goal is to raise $10,000 on behalf of Joshua and his wonderful family. This is an aggressive goal, and any help towards achieving it would be very much appreciated.
