 A small group of family and friends have committed to completing the “TOUGHEST one day event on the planet” called the Tough Mudder.  It is a 9 Mile, 18-obstacle course designed by the British Special Forces.  Some of the obstacles include crawling on our bellies through mud, trekking up a red-graded ski run to the top of the mountain, crawling through mounds of fresh snow, more mud stomping as well as cliff jumping, rope climbing, and fire walking. The Tough Mudder isn’t just a race…It’s about camaraderie, mental stamina, teamwork and helping other mudders.

 Ok, Now that we have your attention, we ask for a few minutes of your time and several of your hard-earned dollars.  All of us who have signed up for this are dedicated lunatics and certifiably insane (we do have to sign a waiver) but it’s all for a good cause.  Below is a list of our team members who have committed to take on the challenge of finishing the course and raise as much money as we can for Family and Friends for Freedom Fund, Inc. 

Family & Friends For Freedom Fund, Inc is organized exclusively for charitable purposes to provide financial aid to injured soldiers and their families.  Our severely wounded soldiers continue to fight battles here at home as they struggle to adjust to their injuries. Family and Friend’s mission is to provide financial support to injured military men and women while they continue their long road to recovery.

If you would like to donate in honor or in memory of someone, PLEASE let us know and we will pin their names to our gear (if you don’t mind the mud, possible blood, and definite sweat and tears that their name will be subjected to).  Each name will give us that much more love and determination to push through when the course gets difficult.
