Thanks for taking the time to read about this amazing cause. As many of you know this will be my 5th year running the P.F Changs Marathon and my 4th year in a row raising money for the Phoenix Children's Hospital through "Miracles in Motion". This year I am training, racing and raising funds for a little girl named Denise.
Denise is currently 5 years old and has overcome many challenges. She was born with multiple anomalies plus a prune belly, clubbed feet & kidney failure. Over a year ago Denise received her 1st kidney transplant only to lose one of the kidneys shortly after. Her other kidney is still working well but she is susceptible to urinary tract infections and is treated at Phoenix Children’s Hospital frequently. She has undergone many other surgeries in the last few years and PCH has been there for her and her family every step of the way.
Denise has a lot of obstacles still ahead of her but at this point she is doing great. Her family says that she is a real trooper and she has just begun kindergarten.
All of the money raised by “Miracles in Motion” will go directly towards patient care. Your tax deductible donation allows PCH to provide specialized care to Arizona’s most ill and injured children.
