Kagan Schmidt is a 9 yr. old boy just like any other, with one exception; Kagan was diagnosed with Benign Rolandic Epilepsy in September of 2009. So far, his seizures have been controlled by medication, and we are told that he will likely outgrow them by adolescence. Until then he will continue taking his medications and live his life doing all of the things that a 9 yr. old boy loves to do! Kagan likes skateboarding, soccer, karate, archery, paintball, basketball, and playing video games!

 

We are so proud of how strong and brave Kagan has been through all of this, and we will continue supporting him and the many others who deal with Epilepsy every day!

 

Kagan will be walking in the 2011 Brevard Epilepsy Walk on Saturday, November 12th. Any support to help his cause will be greatly appreciated.
