On Saturday February 11th I am going swimming in Long Island Sound! Yes you read that right, I will be taking part in "Freezin' for a Reason" to raise money for Wakeman Boys & Girls Club!

Many of you know Wakeman is one of my favorite places. Not only do I currently work there, but I spent a majority of my time in middle school and high school working on the Junior Staff, volunteering through Keystone, and playing basketball with friends.  Wakeman had a huge impact on my life and I'm proud to support the organization with this event.

Today, Wakeman has three Clubhouses (Southport, Stratfield, and Smilow-Burroughs) and an award-winning Outreach Program at McKinley School that offer after school programs, sports leagues, tutoring, art classes, summer camps, and much, much more that help our nearly 4,000 members be great!
