Hawaiian Surfer
When life gave Alex lemons, she made lemonade. At age 4, Alexandra Scott
set up a lemonade stand to help kids who, like herself, battled childhood cancer. Asked, how much money do you want to make, she curtly replied, one million dollars! And, how do you plan to do that, Alex? One cup at a time.
So, one cup at a time, Alex’s lemonade stand grew until children across the nation sold lemonade. About two months before she died at age 8, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation hit the one million dollar mark.
Alex is gone, but her dream lives on. Alex’s Lemonade Stand was started by a little girl that struggled with cancer, just like the kids her foundation helps. Kids still sell lemonade to help other kids the same way Alex did.
Keep Alex’s dream alive with your donation. Many thanks for your support!
