Dear friends,

This past Febuary, my former partner and now very dear friend, Jacqui Mac died unexpectedly. She gave so much of herself to those she knew. She gave to our community and now a group of us want to continue that giving in her name by doing the Swim for Life.  

For years I've intended to kayak in the Swim for Life. When our friend Lynne suggested a group of us do it in Jacqui's name. I decided it was just the motivation I needed to stop intending and start doing. So, for Jacqui, whose memories will always live, it is an honor to participate in her name.
