Can you imagine being just a baby, sick, scared and left in a cage to starve to death? Then taken to the pound when you are so sick you can barely stand being surrounded by the barking and new surrounding, how scarey that must be. Can you imagine facing the fact of being put down because you are sick and there is simply no money for medicine? All of this was a reality for Milo but because of BHRG this sick little boy was given a second chance. Milo has some issues with his liver and requires special care but because BHRG always steps up for Georgia bassets this little sweetie will have a wonderful life.

Benny was also saved at the last minute by this wonderful organization. Benny has aggression issues and was unadoptable and was to be put down. BHRG took a chance on him and I am so glad they did. Benny continues to be a work in progress after a year but has had so many breakthroughs and is slowly overcoming his past. He still does not trust easily but is learning to trust and is such a happy little boy who is truely loved by his mom and dad

Please help us raise much needed funds so that BHRG can continue to help these wonderful dogs some like Benny and Milo, who were both labeled unadoptable at the shelterso BHRG was the oNLY chance they had..It would be so easy to only take young,healthy,adoptable dogs but because BHRG believes all dogs desearve a chance wonderful dogs are being saved. All of these efforts take money and dedicated volunteers. Please consider fostering,adopting or donating to this wonderful organization. No donation is too small!
