Karen Iwanski's Fundraising Page
As some of you know, my brother-in-law Randy was diagnosed with ALS(Lou Gehrig's Disease) in March of 2009. Our family was devastated by this news. Randy and my sister Pam have been married for nine years and have two adorable boys (Kyle, 6 and Evan, 3). Randy is an integral part of our family and we are doing everything we can to help him with this battle. Unfortunately Randy's initial symptoms have afftected his hands and he is rapidly becoming unable to do some of the things he loves (i.e. play golf).
On September 12, 2009, I will be doing the 3.5 mile Walk of Hope for ALS in Wakefield, MA. I am asking for your support by sponsoring me in this walk. With your help, research can continue to help find a definitive cause and cure for this awful disease. We are praying that with the agressive research that is now being done for ALS, a cure will soon be found so that our family as well as many other families will not have to see their loved ones fight this terrible disease.
