Hi, Thank you for checking out my FirstGiving Fundraising page for Special Olympics Anchorage area. I have been volunteering for Special Olympics for 13 years now. My son Alex's first sport was track and field at age 9. Now at 22 he is an athlete in cross country skiing, down hill skiing, bowling, golfing and track and field. He decided on his own this year to try out two new sports, power lifting and snow-boarding. My husband is involved as a golf partner and our daughter is a partner in down hill skiing. ONLY with your support of a monetary donation and the many volunteers who come and go OR come and stay, this program can continue to excel as being one of our country's best. Thank you so much.
