On Nov 7, 2011, I was diagnosed with pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer that metastasized to my liver. It is amazing how far medicine has come along but unfortunately there is no cure for this rare disease. Please join me in fighting this disease by donating to the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation. 100% of all donations directly support cutting edge cancer research for neuroendocrine tumors.  It has only been a month since my diagnosis but the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation has provided me a tremendous amount of hope in times of despair. My journey towards a cancer-free life is just beginning and I am optimistic that, with your support, we can help find a cure for all persons affected with this disease.
