Hi all!  Cheli here!

So guess what my Mommy and Daddy are up to now?  They are going to join the, "Mutt Mosey" on Saturday, September 26th at Twin Lakes in Palatine.

What is this all about you ask?  Well, they are walking to raise funds for Young At Heart Pet Rescue a non-profit organization devoted to the rescue of older dogs and cats. Kinda like me!

They are working very hard to raise enough funds for a Senior Pet Adoption Center and Sanctuary! Why is this needed so badly? Because the majority of traditional shelters and rescues can't help senior dogs and cats find homes, which is why Young at Heart was created in the first place. If your heart has ever been melted by an older dog with a grey muzzle or your lap has been warmed by a calm older cat, you know the love that an older pet can provide! Older pets deserve loving homes, too! 

We appreciate your support and would love to have you join us (hopefully I can make it too :-) )in our fight for these wonderful animals - like me!!
