Hi everybody!

Haccamo will once again be holding Hike For Haccamo in memory of my amazing twin sister Ellen. Ellen was an incredible person, sister, friend, and special education teacher who found her love for the developmentally disabled population while working at Camp Haccamo. My sister was a talented, innovative, and dedicated special education teacher, who found immense joy in her work. Ellen was killed suddenly June 16, 2007, in a car accident, when we were 25.

So, if you love me, if you love Ellen, if you love helping out an amazing cause, if you've got a spare buck or two laying around, make a donation! And think about registering for any of the events being held this October! I'd love to see lots of familiar faces!

Thanks to everyone for the unending support, patience, and kindness my parents and I have received over the past three years. We could not have survived our loss alone, and are always comforted to remember that there are others who love, miss, and remember Ellen as intensely as we do.
