Joe & Tyler are wonderful examples of the joy of adopting shelter dogs!  Tyler had lived his life as an "outdoor" farm dog. When I adopted him he had every parasite, even heartworms! Seven years later he is a much loved, healthy couch potato. His buddy Joe (on the left) was "found wandering" and ended up in a shelter, where he made his way to my home. They were adopted a couple of years apart, but couldn't be closer--they love each other and provide me with much joy.
