Friends and Family,

I cannot believe it has already been a year since my last Ride for Kids event.  Last year, in my inaugural ride, I was able to raise over $5,000 thanks to your generosity.

As you know, this event is very dear to my heart.  In October 2010, my then 8 year old daughter Kate was diagnosed with a brain tumor on her left temporal lobe.  After successful surgery that removed over 90% of the tumor, she is now stable and doing exeptionally well.  We know that we are very blessed, given the fact that nearly half of all children diagnosed with a brain tumor will not make it past 5 years.  This is why it is so important we help find the cause and cure for this deadliest form of childhood cancer.
