Dear Friends and Family,

On June 19, 2010, we will be participating in the 7th Annual Sharon Timlin Memorial 5K Race to Cure ALS. This event raises money towards a cure for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).  As many of you know, this cause is close to our hearts since our Dad's recent diagnosis with ALS.

There are many doctors and nurses working tirelessly to find a cure for this devestating degenerative disease.  Dr. Robert Brown, of UMass Medical Center, is one of these individuals committed to the fight against ALS.  Every dollar that we raise will be directed to Dr. Brown and his colleagues to support their groundbreaking research.  More effective treatments and a cure are around the corner.

In these economic times, we know it is difficult to donate to every worthy charity. Each dollar donated will be used solely for medical research. Please help us towards the attainable goal of finding a treatment or cure for ALS in our lifetime!  Any donation of any amount is greatly appreciated and can be made online by clicking the Sponser Us button above, or if you prefer, please make check out to: The Angel Fund and mail it to me at the address listed below.  All donations are tax deductible. For more information about ALS, the event, or to register to run, walk or volunteer, please visit: http://www.sharontimlinrace.org.

The outpouring of support over the past couple of months has been amazing - Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and incredibly generous donations!!

We're looking forward to a beautiful day tomorrow!!
