First Annual Cheetah Skate-a-thon
Join the Montgomery Cheetahs and friends from across Maryland as they seek to raise $15,000 in support on ice programs. The event will be held on Saturday, May 12th from 5-7pm at the Rockville Ice Arena. This event is open to skaters and non-skaters, and anyone who wants to cheer! Please mark it on your calendars!
How Does it Work?
The Cheetahs are inviting hockey players, figure skaters, and anyone who loves the ice to lace up their skates and have fun for a great cause. Don't want to skate? No worries. Come out to cheer and support an amazing group of kids.
How Can You Help?
Everyone who raises $50 or more will receive a Cheetah-thon t-shirt. 100% of the money raised will fund ice expenses for the Cheetah program.
Please make sure to list child you are making a donation for with a special message encouraging them in the comment section while making your donation!

Who We Are!
Montgomery Special Hockey is an adaptive ice hockey program for children and adults with developmental disabilities. In addition to physical hockey skills, the program emphasizes the development of desirable individual characteristics such as dependability, self-reliance, concentration, willingness to share and personal accountability. The game of hockey is used to develop within each player the characteristics that will help the player to be more successful both inside and outside a hockey environment. Support from this program comes from the community. Middle and High School aged mentors take to the ice each practice to offer one-on-one assistance to Cheetah athletes.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support our fundraising efforts. Please, help keep the Cheetahs on the ice. Donate today.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
