CHILD FAMILY HEALTH INTERNATIONAL

April 3, 2010 Programs

Katherine Putz's Fundraising Page

Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page! I have been accepted to volunteer with Child Family Health International to help provide quality healthcare to needy people in the communities of Ecuador.

This month-long project will address the healthcare needs of the underserved and broaden my public & global health knowledge. This experience will teach me what I need to know to be able to provide healthcare to poor communities around the world, which I hope to do on my own in the future.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure.

Where does the donated money go? CFHI has an overhead of only 4.8% which has earned it the highest rating by Charity Navigator for high efficiency & low overhead. The money goes to support the organization, and to compensate the local doctors, homestay families and CFHI representatives.

What can the donated money buy?

$10 enables CFHI to ship $100 worth of medical supplies to the needy communities with whom we work

$50 can support a child's healthcare services for one year in Ecuador

CFHI and I greatly appreciate your support! I am going to Ecuador April 3rd and will be there for one month. This page closes on February 17th so if you are able to help, please do so soon!
