MELANOMA FOUNDATION NEW ENGLAND

Concord, MA | EIN: 04-3478266

The Melanoma Foundation of New England is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about the importance of early detection and prevention, and helping patients and their caregivers cope with melanoma. Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States. More than 3.5 million skin cancers in over two million people are diagnosed annually. Each year there are more new cases of skin cancer than the combined incidence of cancers of the breast, prostate, lung and colon. Melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, is the most common form of cancer for young adults 25-29 years old and the second most common form of cancer for young people 15-29 years old. One in 55 people will be diagnosed with melanoma during their lifetime. The Melanoma Foundation of New England was founded in 1999 and is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that provides educational programs, support groups, and advocacy for melanoma patients.
