Bill “The  Big Whistle” Chadwick, who will forever be remembered by New York Rangers fans for the 14 seasons he spent as a radio and television color commentator, passed away on October 24, 2009, just two weeks after turning 94 years old.

To honor the memory of Mr. Chadwick, the Chadwick family is asking that donations be made to the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a non-profit charity that works closely with all areas of Madison Square Garden including Bill's beloved Rangers, the New York Knicks and Liberty, MSG Media, MSG Entertainment and Fuse to make dreams come true for kids in crisis.
