Welcome to Amélie's page. October is Down syndrome awareness month. Amélie has that extra chromosome (we are pretty sure it is filled with stubborness) in her. The extra chromosome, along with a long list of other traits, makes her a pretty unique and awesome kid.

We are looking to you to help us raise money for the Down syndrome Research and Treatment Foundation.  Their mission:

To stimulate biomedical research that will accelerate the development of treatments to significantly improve cognition for individuals with Down syndrome.

Treatments that are developed to improve memory, learning and speech will allow individuals with Down syndrome to:

• Participate more successfully in school;
• Lead more active and independent lives;
• Prevent early cognitive decline.

The work they do will directly affect Amélie as she grows up. Please consider supporting them/ Amélie. Thank you!
