I am running in honor of my friend Bogie.  Bogie lost her husband at age 42 to Marfans, and within the following year, her son Jimmy, 13, also died from complications of this disease.

I honor her courage and spirit - and hope that by running and raising funds, we can help other families like Bogie's, to avoid the grief and pain she has endured.
