It's time, once again, for The Shuffle!  This is the fundraising event by North Texas Basset Hound Rescue, NTBHR that I organize every year.  This year has been especially hard for NTBHR.  Vet costs have risen, the economy is poor which means more dogs needing rescue, and we also helped out with a puppy mill bust.  NTBHR took in 15 dogs from the puppy mill - they are all doing much better now, but were in very bad health when we took them in.  Many had skin problems, worms, were malnurished and all had very bad teeth. 

Scooter is fully aware of how lucky she is and how well she has trained her person - so she would like me to get as many pledges as possible for her.  All pledges will go directly to NTBHR where they will help with our enormous vet bills and allow us to keep taking in homeless Basset Hounds. 

Scooter will not rest until every basset out there has their own soft bed (this means she won't let ME rest either!) so we would like you all to help with a pledge to NTBHR.  Please feel free to send this along to your friends and family; we'll take all the help we can get. All donations are tax deductable, as NTBHR is a 501c(3).
