Funds raised from the Buddy Walk will go to the organization - PDSSN to support people with Down syndrome:  provide Resource Notebooks to the families of new babies who have Down syndrome, provide conference tuition for people who have Down syndrome and their families, provide assistance for programs that support inclusion, BEES Parent Behavior Program, REAL Readers Are Learners Adult Literacy Program, TFIF donation, community information, and other educational activities.  The PDSSN works with area health care providers, schools, employers, and the general community to increase their knowledge and understanding of Down syndrome and to encourage full community inclusion.
