SBR MEDICAL FUND
Thank you for visiting Suncoast Basset Rescue's Medical Emergency Fund page.
A few times a year Suncoast is faced with some very expensive unexpected medical bills.
Daisy Mae bloated on September 23. She is only 5-6 years old. Her stomach had turned 180 degrees so surgery was her only option. Her stomach was tacked and she has healed wonderfully. Her trip to the ER vet cost $2,000.00
Little Miss Sunshine (est 3-5 yro) was picked up from Clay County AC on September 15. She has a severe case of demodex and is underweight and will need to eventually be spay but will be in foster care for at least 4-5 months. We estimate her vet bills to exceed $500.00
Maddie came to us from Hillsborough County AC on July 27. The shelter removed her 1 eye due to glaucoma issues. On November 9, Maddie will have her other eye removed. Maddie, along with Gretchen, was the spotlite hound at the Fine Art of Basset Rescue Auction in Sept. Both houndies will continue to get around just fine with the help of their basset snooters! We anticipate Maddie's second eye surgery vet bills to be $650.
Suncoast thanks you for your support. Know that every dollar you donate makes a difference in a homeless hounds life. Any monies received over the goal will go towards other medical bills for foster hounds currently in our care.
Bless you for caring.
